Abstract

The strong gamma-ray anomalies in the Silurian black shales in Santa Creu d'Olorda (Collserola Massif) near Barcelona were the origin of the radioactive regional survey in 1990 using a comparative streams sediments geochemistry method, a gamma-ray method and soil-gas radon method. The intent of this paper is to present an approach to radon origin in two different lithologie areas ofthe Catalonian Coastal Ranges (CCR).
