Abstract

The properties of porous rock and soils , i.e. fluid flow permeability, sorptivity, fluid phase distribution and composition are of great interest in environmental site characterization and hydrogeological applications. Additionally, recent environmental research include the - representative determination of input parameters for groundwater and migration modelling, - noninvasive evaluation of the condition of the multiphase system subsurface - monitoring the remediation of contaminated groundwater and soil zones
