Abstract

The volcanic complex of Mount Vultune (Southern Italy) represents a hydrogeologically relevant area for the presence of urineral waters. The waters are locally bottled by industries for drinking use. The demand of ever-increasing water quantities together with pollution problems call for a detailed knowledge of the geometry and hydrological characteristics of the aquifers as well as their vulnerability.
