Abstract

Over the past three years we have carried out several two-dimensional (2-D) electrical imaging in order to verify the reliability of this technology in different environmental and geological conditions. The 2-D resistivity imaging method is in wide use and successfully employed for detecting pollutants diffusion, in groundwater monitoring, in buried bodies and cavities detection problems.
