3-D Georadar Studies in Fluvial Deposits in Northern Switzerland

Braided river systems are discontinuous but generally extensive landforms composed primarily of flood-plain sediments, gravel bars, channel fill and scour pools. More than 60 % of Switzerland's freshwater aquifers formed in this depositional environment.
