Abstract

Electrical resistivities of rocks and soils often show strong lateral and vertical variations in the shallow subsurface. These variations can be delineated with several different geophysical methods. In this study we examine the resolving power of different inversion schemes using Schlumberger DC resistivity and time-domain electromagnetic (TEM) sounding data.
