Positioning of Geophysical and Geotechnical Investigations by GPS (Global Poskioning System) Survey

This paper illustrates the possibilities afforded by the use of GPS (Global Positioning System) survey methodology for the positioning of investigations carried out in the ground. For example in civil engineering it is very important to determine both the depth of the bedrock and the position of the site of the investigations.
