f Case Study - Prestack Depth Migration in Poland

Basic processing of seismic data yielded geologic details of a large part of Polish Lowland, where Geofizyka Torun carries out seismic prospecting. Nevertheless, some complex structures have not been well imaged for many years. Prestack depth migration combined with interactive, tomography-based, software dedicated to velocity model building revealed tree structure at those places. The software package designed for prestack depth migration procedure, proved its efficiency on numerous lines recorded on-shore, and off-shore in areas of different types of structure.
