Abstract

Presently, methods of data analysis in the frequency-time domain have received a great deal of attention as a tool of geophysical processing. Now it has become obvious how wide is this subject. Among the publications on this theme there are papers devoted to problems of filtration, deconvolution, noise suppression, analyzing velocity dispersion, ground roll removal, seismic traces' interpolation, data compression, vibroseis signals control, etc. In most papers the main attention has drawn to processing techniques, whereas geologic interpretation of seismic and other geophysical data stays practically, undeveloped with the exception of a few papers. This paper focuses on very this implementation of frequency-time analysis, which we are engaged in for more than 15 years.
