Abstract
A new method for determining the pressure field of an air gun array is presented that uses gunmounted pressure transducer 5. It may be applied to any air gun and may be applied particularly easily to Bolt guns, using a modification of the existing Bolt Stainless Steel Sensor (BSS). This modification enables both the pressure field to be measured and the guns to be synchronised without adding any further hardware in the water.
