The North Sea Central Graben presents one of the most difficult challenges for any DMO algorithm. Structurally it is complex with numerous hydrocarbon accumulations in the Cretaceous Chalk on the flanks of some of the salt domes present in the area and in the deeper Jurassic and Permian prospects where structures are often influenced by salt tectonics.
