Abstract
The Cedar Hill Field is located 30 km northeast of the city of Farmington in San Juan County, New Mexico, U.S.A. Cedar Hill Field is the oldest producing coalbed gas field in the San Juan Basin, and has an acrial extent of approximately 40km² . Gas production is from thick (4-5m) upper and lower coal seams of the Cretaceous Fruitland Formation.
