Abstract
For the last decade seismic interpretation made a noteworthy progress in assessment of subsurface porosity and lithology even in such complicated cases as thin lagering, subtle structuring, etc. Creation of the initial lithoacoustic models to be updated through seismic brodband and lithologic inversions is an integral and a very important part of the many techniques used for subtle seismic interpretation. While problems of inversion have been discussed among geophysicists, methodology of the creation remains rather underinvestigated.
