Abstract
In the DELPHI project at the Delft University of Technology a step-wise inversion scheme for seismic data has been proposed (Berkhout and Wapenaar, 1990). The last part of this scheme is a linear inversion proces for the estimation of contrast parameters and a nonlinear inversion process for the estimation of rock and pore parameters.
