Abstract
In addition to using the now widely recognised technique of simultaneously acquiring deep, regional reflection profiles at sea and long-range refraction profiles using threecomponent land stations, the BABEL seismic experiment in the Gulf of Bothnia between Finland and Sweden also recorded P- and S-wave energy from the airgun array at foor linear 38-component land spreads.
