f Interactive Technology of Corrections for Overburden Inhomogeneities in Seismic Exploration

Zones of permafrast down to 500 m in some regions of Western and Eastern Siberia cause specific distribution of elastic wave velocities in overburden which becomes especially apparent in sand-clay rocks. In generally observed increased velocities extensive zones of velocity decrease exist resulting in considerable distortions of different events arrival times, arriving from deeper horizons.
