f The Interpretation of Geological and Seismic Data of the Ionian and Kruja Tectonic Zones in Albania

Albania belongs to Alpine orogenesis. The geologic setting is very complicated. This has been evidenced in a number of geologic and geophysical works. The study area is located between Kruja zone and Ionian zone. The surface relief is very developed going from 50 m to 1000 m over the sea level. Carbonate mountains are exposed on eastern part of the area. All wells drilled in this area are located out of prospects and leads prognosed in this paper. This way the area can be considered still unexplored and there exist all the possibilities for oil and gas discoveries.
