Abstract
Collision of Eurasia and Africa plates involves the deformation of the Iberian (Plate inner part) interior. Intraplate basins, narnely Duero and Madrid basins, and mountain ranges, the Spanish Central System and the Iberian Range, were developped during Alpine Orogeny.
