Abstract

In comparison with seismic and electrical geophysical methods, gravimetry may take advantage of little space required for measurement, small instrumentation and low dependence on athropogenic influences, e.g. electric nets etc. That is why the attention has been turned recently to the investigation of various geomechanical and geodynamical phenomena by gravimetry in complicated conditions: As the main parametr for gavimetric research is mass density; we have studied the behaviour of it during deformation processes. The change of porosity and bulk density with time during deformation is considerable and the idea of monitoring of such a process led to several attempts to register related non-tidal temporal changes of gravity.
