Abstract

An acoustic modeling was done to simulate low frequecy wave propagation in a fluid-saturated poroacoustic medium using the finite-difference method for two-dimensional media to solve the equation of motion for three cases: first, the wave equation with constant density, second, the wave equation with density as a spatial function and third, the Biot's system of equation.
