Abstract
In this paper we study theoretically and numerically the influence of random isotropic stationary inhomogeneities on the kinematics of the transmitted compressional initially plane wave. Due to scattering by the inhomogeneities the wavefront of the transmitted wavefield becomes nonplanar.
