f Finite Strain Rate Models of Thermal and Tectonic Subsidence in Detached Rifts

Contrasting styles of lithospheric thinning (extension) are investigated with kinematic two dimensional finite difference models. In these models lower and mid crustal detachment zones are represented by gradual change of extension, the P-factor, between the upper crust and lithosphere.
