Abstract
The North Urals represents a 1200 km long and 150-200 km wide segment of the Uralian disturbed belt overthrust onto the eastern margin of the Timan-Pechora basin. Southern and northern limits of the North Urals are provided by transverse uplifts related to the structural gram of the basis.
