Abstract
Many fluvio-deltaic reservoirs, such as eg. the Ness Formation in the Brent Group (Geel et al., 1995) form complex "labyrinth type" reservoirs, characterized by isolated channel sandstone bodies and thin, extensive sand sheets embedded in overbank lines. Sand/shale ratio and landbody connectivity are low, and land trends are difficult to predict.
