Abstract

During the last five years, exploration activity has resulted in new information about the Jurassic stratigraphy and sedimentology of the southern Mid-Norwegian shelf. Four wells have been drilled in a coastal area which covers parts of the Gossa High and the Slørebotn Subbasin east of the Møre Basin. In additian to this, foor shallow wells have been drilled close to the Norwegian mainland (Smelror et al., 1994)
