Abstract
The south part of the Pannonian basin is the main oil hearing area in Croatia. About 70 mil tons of oil and cca 30 billion of cubic meters of gas were produced in this part of the basin. This certainly is the most explored area, but is very likely that potential new hydrocarbon discoveries may still be found there.
