Abstract
Seismic signals excited by vibrational sources are subjected to nonlinear and phase distortions decreasing effectiveness of vibrational seismic prospecting. The distortion intensity is the largest at low frequencies due to the fact that relative movements of vibrator baseplate exceed by far the magnitude of ground elastic deformation.
