We have attempted to solve the problem of pelitic overpressured bodies in the Focsani Depression, based on the study of interval velocities from sonic logs, correlation of electrical logs, seismic lines, isopach maps and maps of burial depth of formations, as well as on thermometric information and knowledge of the regional geology.
