Abstract

During the Eocene the Tremp-Ager Basin was formed by the advancing Central-South Pyrenean thrust sheet. It was the second in a succession of thrust sheet synclines accompanied by outward depocentre migrations in the Early Paleocene, the Late Eocene and the Oligocene.
