Abstract

New structures revealed from shaded relief images and 3D computer models of the gravity and magnetic gelds over the Southern North Sea Gas Basin are presented. These are interpreted in terms of their pre-Permian significante which supports the view that early Carboniferous structures and subsequent sedimentation patterns were influenced by reactivation of faults within the Precambrian to Lower Palaeozoic basement.
