Abstract
design of field parameters for seismic surveys is a complex matter but may be efficiently supported by modern Work stations that, by means of tailored software routines, are able to simulate the basic proces of the waves propagation. The noise effects can also be taken into account through the ground roll and ambient noise simulation .
