f The use of digital terrain models in continental geophysical compilations

Since 1986, the University of Leeds Industrial Services has been involved in a number of continental scale gravity and magnetic compilation projects - the African Gravity Project (AGP 1986-88), the South American Gravity Project (SAGP 1988-91), the African Magnetic Mapping Project (AMMP 1989-92), the South East Asia Gravity Project (SEAGP 1991-94), the West East Europe Gravity Project (WEEGP 1991-94) and the South American Magnetic Mapping Project (SAMMP 1992-94) . These projects, funded by more than 20 international oil companies, aim to collate all available commercial and academic data for each continent and produce unified grids and maps based on these data .
