f Estimating crack and pore structure by inversion of anisotropic seismic data

The development of new prospecting and seismic exploration methods in geological structurens of clayey reservoir type (considered Barlier as having absolutely no prospect) recently attracts a significant interest. The oil fields with this type of reservoirs have been found in Russia, Italy, USA, and other countries. The properties of noch reservoirs are controlled as a rule by vertical and horizontal crack systems content . It results in the problem of inverting parameters of cracked porous medium with two orthogonal crack structuren, being based on seismic data for P- and split S- waves .
