f Development of the national geophysical databaes in GIS

General changes taking place actually in Hungary have a great influence on the geological-geophysical prospecting. The starting privatization and concessional prospecting falling witpin the new Law of Minrog bring about new situation for the state-owned Eötvös Loránd Geophysical Institute. In this manher besides performing state-supported prospectings the ELGI's tasks include collecting, protecting of geophysical data of field surveys and providing information for the prospecting companies .
