Abstract

The compilation of airborne magnetic survey data into a unified digital data base for the continent of Africa by the African Magnetic Mapping Project (AMMP) facilitates the integration of magnetic data with other digital geodata sets. We demonstrate the potential application of the combined interpretation of airborne magnetics, radiometrics, satellite imagery and information on urineral occurrences to improve the understanding of the lithological and structural control of known urineral deposits and to delineate potential areas for fotore exploration activities.
