Abstract
In summer 1991 the two ice breaking research vessels ODEN and POLARSTERN were able to carry out extensive geoscientific research programs in this inaccessible region. In total 1500 km of multichannel seismic data could be collected in the Arctic basins. For acquisition a 300m streamer (12 channels) and a 24 ltr airgun array were used.
