Abstract
Aperture migration (aperture-compensated migration inversion) [1,2] inverts the zero-offset reflectivity from prestack reflection seismic data correctly. This method accommodates the incident angle of the wave, the reflector's dip and the actual receiver apert ure and is superior to conventional migration methods.
