f Shear wave investigations at the KTB deep drilling site

In 1989, after the pilot hole of the Continent al Deep Drilling Project (KTB, Oberpfalz, F.R.G.) had beed finished, an extensive seismic survey was carried out at the KTB site by the German DEKORP group. Besides a 3D-reflection survey a large number of special experiments were realized in order to get a comprehensive petrophysical description of the rocks in the KTB surrounding. Parts of the data basis of this so - called Integrated Seismics Oberpfalz (ISO 89) had been presented during the last EAEG meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark. Meanwhile first interpretations are available.
