f Magnetic-anomaly map of the Republic of Yemen

A standardised composite magnetic-anomaly map of the Republic of Yemen is presented. This has been compiled from 23 airborne surveys of widely differing specifications undertaken between 1975 and 1985. The airborne magnetic surveys flown on behalf of the Natural Resources Project of the Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources over the central parts of the Republic of Yemen in 1985, which included a high altitude regional coarse grid survey, completed the magnetic coverage of the Republic. The magnetic-anomaly map of the Republic of Yemen has been produced by The Robertson Group plc for the Natural Resorces Project. The surveying and compilation was primarily financed by loans from the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development with technical assistance from the United Nations Department of Technical Co-operation and Development (UN/DTCD).
