Abstract
An industrial oparation of polymer injection has been implemented in the Courtenay field which is a satellite of the Chateaurenard field. A large slug of partially hydrolysed polyacrylamide solution with a viscosity of 21 cPo is being injected to displace a 40 cPo oil.
