Abstract
Crosswell imaging with reflections has been proposed and successfully applied to field data (Lazaratos et al., 1992). Crosswell reflections can provide high resolution images of horizons at and below the well bottom, which is a key advantage of reflection imaging relative to transmission tomography. Crosswell re- flection imaging techniques include stacking, migration, wave equation traveltime plus waveforrn inversion (WTW, Luo and Schuster, 1990) etc., where each method may need different processing procedures.
