f Seismics methods for investigation of anisotropic properties of media (offshore surveys)

Authors have developed new high precision techniques for anisotropic properties of media study based on seismic profiling of different types of waves along circular profiles. The advantage of this techniques is the possibility of their wide application to offshore survey. Bottom seismographs, hydrophones, and borehole sondes (if a borehole available) are used as receiving units. If a borehole is available, transmitted and refracted waves are used, if not - we use only refracted waves. Interpretation is accompanied by mathematical and ultrasonic physical modelling.
