For the achievement of more efficient detection and determination of geological structures and sub-surface inhomogenities, a focusing four-electrode current arrangement has been developed - Fig 1. This arrangement does not include potential electrodes. Measurement is performed by three ampermeters and a voltmeter. The ampermeters measure the current intensities of corresponding electrodes, whereas the voltmeter controls the potential difference between the electrodes.
