Abstract

In the frame of an Austrian-Hungarian project a DC multielectrode equipment (compiled in its first version from a standard geoelectric sounding instruments, a PC, an electronic switching unit and special tabel systems) was developed. Later a compact version was made and by this new system lake-bottom Schlumberger-soundings - similar to those by Lagabrielle and Chevalier (1992) - were carried out in the southern part of the Lake Fertö (in Gemnan: Neusiedlersee, see Figure 1). In this area before this first common project only several geoelectric soundings had been known both from the Austrian (Fritsch, 1964) and the Hungarian (Adám et al., 1964) sides.
