Abstract
Decomposition of initial seismic data is wide-spread approach to solving of inverse seismic problems. The final result of inverse problem essentially depends on exactness of decomposition problem, as initial step of data inversion. So, the question of ambiguity is of importance for problem of decomposition. In this paper rather general approach to analysis of ambiguity of seismic data decomposition is suggested. It is based on analysis of kernel of structural matrix of linear equation system. Such systems are appeared under solving of problem of decomposition. The problems of static corrections and CSD-technology (Complex Seismic Decomposition) are taken as examples of use of suggested approach.
