Abstract
Electrical surveying techniques are well-established for the examination of the subsurface, with a wide range of arrays in common use. Individual arrays are appropriate for different geophysical situations and each has intrinsic properties in terms of penetration depth, resolution and field practicality, as well as requiring varying approaches to data processing and interpretation.
