Abstract
The drawing of 2D and 3D geological structures from subsurface and seismic data is a crucial problem. With the arrival of 3D seismic, it is becoming more and more necessary to give to the interpreters some tools that allow to test the geometrical coherence of the geological structural maps. Several methods have been developed to verify this geometrical coherente of the interpretation. The most common way is the balancing of geological cross-sections.
