Abstract
During the Late Miocene-Pliocene post-rift thermal subsidence phase of the Pannonian Basin two partly isolated interior sag systems were formed (one of them in the western part, the other in the eastern part). These sag system consist of the Dariube, Mura, Zala, Dráva Basins in the West and the Kiskun, Jász, Derecske Basins in the East.
