Estimation of macro P and S velocity models

In this paper a macro model estimation technique is presented based on non-recursive wave field extrapolation. By shot record redatuming, using an initial macro model, true Common Depth Point (CDP-) gathers are generated at grid points along one or more lateral positions (such as potential boreholes).
