Abstract

Summary

Three dimensional reservoirs model building in one of largest gas field in Western Siberia was based on integrated interpretation of well information together with newly acquired adaptive seismic technology (AviSeis) data. Increase in both vertical and spatial resolutions of the seismic data lead to significant increase in Senomanian and Turonian complex reservoir structure and their parameters definition.

Integration of sedimentology and petrophysics studies into modelling project allowed deriving porosity and permeability volumes which conform to porous space variations trough different facies. The resulting 3D distribution of the rocks with different reservoir capacities can be used to increase the efficiency on field production.
